Scheduled at intervals throughout the academic year WAU Weeks are loved by all at Our Lady of Grace. They consitently prove to be exciting, enriching and enjoyable events for all involved. Designed with our children at their heart, they have proven to be great vehicles to help us ensure high levels of learning and understanding in the in important areas they cover.

The careful design of our WAU Weeks have strengthened our already strong Home, School & Parish/Community partnerships and provided even more opportunities for our children to have their voices heard.

British Values - The Rule of Law

With the whole school focus 'We Are Safer & Stronger Together', the children took part in a World Around Us Week recently (WAU) on British Values and The Rule of Law. 

One of the many activities planned was a visit to Y5 & Y6 from a Barrister to deepen the children's understanding of the UK Justice System and the reasons why it is important to us all. 

A mock trial was held (Goldilocks & The Three Bears) and the children loved playing all the different roles of a modern court room.
