Our Annual trip to the Post Office to post our letters to Santa . Pleae visit our class page to see many more pictures from the day. Thank you to all the parents who supported us on our trip.

Christmas card making club. The children spoke and we listened. A number of children (via the school council) had requested that we have more craft activities here at school in special lunch time creative clubs. Thank you to all the staff giving up their time to make that dream come true!

Over the past few weeks, our Laudato Si Team have been preparing a whole school assembly to share information about National Tree week 2024. We have also successfully applied to the Woodland trust to donate over 120 trees to our school which the Laudato Si Team will be planting in our school grounds.

Check out these odd sock combinations in support of Anti-Bullying Week. Well done for all of our children (and staff) for being true witnesses of their faith and getting fully involved!

Kindness and Anti-Bullying Week launch assembly. This year's theme is Choose Respect. There will be a range of activities happening across school. We are very proud of our culture of no bullying and kindness.

Remembrance Day 11:00am Whole School 1 minute silence. As always the children were reverent and prayerful as we observed this great tradition. We could hear the faint sound of the guns being fired at the Town Hall we were so quiet!

Remembrance Day Assembly 08.11.24. Parents, Grandparents & Governors joined the Key Stage 2 children (led by Y5) in marking this special day with an assembly. The assembly used readings, prayers and drama to powerfully highlight the sacrifice made by others so that we can enjoy peace today.

Year 6 Readers for All Saints Mass. Father Phillip and Year 6 delivered a wonderful mass where we remembered all saints (known and unknown!). It was lovely to see so many parents, parishioners and Governors join with Y1-Y6 at church. The singing and mass responses from all children made us feel proud!

Parent's Evenings at Our Lady of Grace are always well attended. They are a great opportunity for school leaders to gather feedback from parents on a range of topics. During our most recent Parent's Evening, we asked parents about Religious Education. The results are below.

CAFOD Harvest Festival was yet again, another massive success! Thank you for all your wonderful donations.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Each class spends time outside with Mary's statue praying the rosary together. This helps us to remember the four different mysteries: Luminous, Joyful, Glorious and Sorrowful. The children in our school always demonstrate reverence and respect.

Year 6 have a wonderful time meeting their Prayer Partners, they wrote lovely letters introducing themselves. They will spend this year guiding the Year 3 through their spiritual journey.

CARITAS: Mini Vinnies is part of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He lived around 500 years ago and dedicated his whole life to serving the poor and needy. Our Mini Vinnie team lead the school in helping in various ways, such as: food, clothes, furniture, advice, cards, a listening ear, trips, etc. We meet and pray together to put concern into action.
