WOW Weeks

Scheduled at intervals throughout the academic year WOW Weeks are loved by all at Our Lady of Grace. They consitently prove to be exciting, enriching and enjoyable events for all involved. Designed with our children at their heart, they have proven to be great vehicles to help us ensure high levels of progress, coverage and attainment in the subjects they cover.

The careful design of our WOW Weeks have strengthened our already strong Home, School & Parish/Community partnerships and provided even more opportunities for our children to have their voices heard. 

 

Examples recent WOW Week at Our Lady of Grace

 

The whole school community loves learning about and creating art in all it's varied forms. During a recent WOW week titled 'World Art' the staff and pupils created some wonderful artistic pieces and really enjoyed learning about the 'Focus Artist' for their Year Group.

One of the whole school Geography WOW Weeks we have enjoyed recently came under the heading 'Communities'

 

Within this topic children developed several aspects of both their knowledge and their skills in this exciting subject. The work celebrated all the different communities they are part of. 

 

At the end of the week, classes displayed examples of the activities they had completed in the Hall for children to view.
