The Madonna del Rosario Procession

The Procession in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary, involves the carrying of religous emblems across Manchester city centre, towards the Town Hall.

The Procession is accompanied by the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillors, memebers from the Italian consul, women in colourful regional dress and children in First Holy Communion Dress (many from Our Lady of Grace).

The events roots can be traced back to 1888 with a vibrant Italian community having settled locally at that time.

Anti-Bullying & Kindness Week

The children loved completing the Great Kindness Challenge where they had to fulfill tasks such as 'smiling at 25 people' and 'saying thank you to the kitchen staff at lunch time'.

Everyone wore Blue on Anti Bullying Day to show that we are all friends here at Our Lady of Grace!

Donations to Charities

The children on the Sacramental Programme just relaxing with their Year 6 Prayer Partners on the outdoor stage.

The generosity of Our Lady of Grace parents never ceases to amaze. This year we donated almost 200 shoe boxes jammed full of goodies to Operation Christmas Child.

The whole school community came together by talking about acts of kindness they have recieved, wearing blue and saying NO to bullying during Kindness & Anti-Bullying Week.

The Remembrance Assembly led by Year 5. A poignant event which helps us to focus on remembering those service men and women from our community who gave their lives to keep us safe.

The Pupil Chaplains celebrating their commissioning with Father Dearman and in action talking to Y3 about Vocations Day.

We love keeping our school clean, bright and welcoming. Below is a recent display the Year 6 children prepared for The Nativity For The Blessed Virgin Mary

Each Autumn at Harvest time we collect donations of money and food and remember that families in this country and further afield do not always have access to a healthy diet. Father Allen is pictured below telling the children about how the money the children raised last year is benefiting a village in Africa by providing a water pump.

The whole school recently attended a celebration assembly where the Year Six children were awarded their Gold Ties in recognition of how they live our school mission.

The charity Samaritan's Purse runs the project Operation Christmas Child. Below is a certificate from the charity thanking us for the 150 boxes we managed to donate with presents for children in need. Thank you all for your support!

Our Lady of Grace always supports the Royal British Legion during November and below is a certificate of thanks for the money we raised.

The school received a letter of thanks from Cornerstone for the collections organised by the Minnie Vinnie Team!

The school prepared for Christmas by singing carols for the community, holding prayer & reflection sessions, performing a lovely nativity and preparing an Advent Assembly.

The sun was shining for our annual May Procession to honour our patron Mary the mother of Jesus!

The school community were very generous (as always) when we asked for donations to Samaritans Purse for the Christmas period. You can view the thank you message we received below.

The school was delighted to welcome Bishop John Arnold to school to open the fantastic new Early Years Centre. You can click below to see the article published in The Universe Newspaper.

The sun was shining as the Y3 children made their Holy Communion. They were an absolute credit to their families, their parish and their school. Well done children!

The school and parish community came together to support the Y4 children as they beautifully delivered a Stations of the Cross service in church.

The Pupil Chaplains really enjoyed their 'Commissioning Day' at The Cathedral.
