As you know, the month of October is dedicated to the month of the holy Rosary. This is why we have been praying the Rosary in front of Mary's statue. We would like you to think about what you would like to pray for or who you would like to pray for and write your own prayer to Mary.

Write a description of the attached setting. Before writing your description, write down as many exciting adjectives as you can about the setting. Include these adjectives in your sentences.
Top Tips: - Use expanded noun phrases to make your writing more interesting
- Say your sentences out loud before you write them.
- Write in full sentences using capital letters and full stops.
- Read over your sentences to check that they make sense.

We have had so much fun whilst reading our class text Grendel. We carried out lots of exciting work linked to this including: hot-seating, writing letters, creating our own Chocolate Land, writing instructions and making chocolate truffles. We also create our own monster and wrote an alternative story linked to Grendel.
